Today, on September 21, Azerbaijan`s President Ilham Aliyev has visited the office of Executive Power of Baku City where he has got acquainted with the model of the new lighting system to be installed in the central avenues and parks of the capital, Trend reports.
Head of the Executive Power of the capital Hajibala Abutalibov told that first the system of classical lighting will be installed in the streets, avenues, parks where the historic-architectural monuments are located, including the Nizami Square. The works in this direction has already been launched state-of-the-art lighting units are delivered from Saint Petersburg. At present, the installation works have already been completed before the Presidential Palace, in Niyazi Street, and very soon will be completed in Istiglaliyat and Aziz Aliyev Streets. The works on the installation of new lighting units in the capital are expected to be completed at the end of 2007
Having got acquainted with the model of the new lighting system in the city, the Head of the Azerbaijani State underlined the necessity of the addition of national ornaments to it. He said that the implementation of the works is at the high level, and gave some other commissions how to accomplish the city better to the City`s Administration.
