In case Turkey turns out in no condition to admit gas from the Shah Deniz field, Azerbaijan can deliver to Turkey approximately 300 million cu m of gas additionally in the autumn-winter season, the Azerbaijani Minister for Industry and Energy, Natik Aliyev told Trend.
Aliyev noted the Turkish section of the South Caucasus Pipeline should be tested and taken for the commencement of the gad deliver to Turkey.
Georgia has problems with gas supply n the winter season and it offers Azerbaijan to deliver part of its gas that Turkey cannot admit. In accordance with the contract this portion of natural gas should be first of all proposed to Azerbaijan,' the Minister underlined.
First gas production from the Shah Deniz field is scheduled for September October 2006.
