On 3 October the European Union s (EU) trio' is going to visit Azerbaijan as part of a tour of the region, Arif Mammadov, the Azerbaijani Ambassador to Benelux countries, told Trend exclusively.
The Mission led by the Foreign Minister of Finland (an EU chairing country), Erkki Tuomioja, includes Commissar on Foreign Relationships & European Neighborhood Policy, Benita Ferrero-Waldner, the German Secretary of State, Gunter Glosser as well as the EU Special Representative on South Caucasus, Peter Semneby.
Discussions with the Azerbaijani officials will involve finalizing talks on the Action Plan under the European Neighborhood Policy and the signing of relevant documents.
