Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev stated in his address at the opening of the autumn session of the Azerbaijani Parliament on 2 October that all political and economic problems, including those existing in the social sector, will be resolved by 2008, Trend reports.
Together we should resolve the existing problems, the President stated in his address to the Parliament. The role of Parliament in the Society is an inspiration and so it should be. The political and economic development of the Country is growing simultaneously. Azerbaijan has continuously consolidated its position. The processes are developing in a positive direction both in the domestic and foreign policy, the President stated.
The Head of State stressed the successful implementation of the program on the development of regions in Azerbaijan, the cut in migration from the region to the capital, which can further change its direction. A rise in the public budget enables us to resolve all existing problems. In 2007-2008 all big infrastructure projects on the construction of power grids, roads, gas and water-lines, schools, should be complete, Aliyev emphasized.
The economic potential, the public political climate and international relationships finally reduces the risks of the Country. Azerbaijan's word has become decisive with regards to regional decisions. No project is implemented in the region without the consent or participation of Azerbaijan. Aliyev said. Azerbaijan's policy benefits the region. I personally do not see any serious problems regarding Azerbaijan. Any problems will be resolved in the future, Aliyev pointed out.
