Within the official visit of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev to Latvia, six inter-governmental agreements were signed on October 4. In addition, the Presidents of the two countries signed a Joint Declaration, Trend reports with reference to ANS TV.
The agreements cover the subject of communication and information telecommunication technology, finance, education and health of the two Countries.
On October 4, the President of Azerbaijan will visit the center of Riga where he will lay a wreath in front of the Freedom Monument. In addition, he will meet with the Latvian Prime Minister Aygar Kalvitis and Speaker of Latvian Parliament Ingrid Udre and will also pay a visit to the Latvian State University.
On October 5, a Business Forum will be organized which will bring together the business people of Azerbaijan and Latvia. A series of documents are expected to be signed during the Forum.
