Today, on October 6, Azerbaijan`s President Ilham Aliyev has accepted the delegation headed by Vice-President of the Russian Academy of Sciences Alexander Andreyev. During the meeting, the Head of the Azerbaijani State highly appreciated the successful cooperation between the Azerbaijani and Russian Academy of Sciences, Trend reports.
Azerbaijan`s President Ilham Aliyev brought to the attention of the Russian guests that it is necessary to expand and strengthen these ties. Here he emphasized the initiative of the representatives of the Russian Academy of Sciences to visit Azerbaijan.
Mr. Andreyev pointed out that scientific ties of the two countries successfully develop experience exchanges are carried out regularly. The Russian Scientist particularly marked that the Russian language has not been consigned to oblivion in Azerbaijan and that Azerbaijan`s youth can speak it fluently.
