The First Lady of Azerbaijan, Mehriban Aliyeva, and the First Lady of Georgia, Sandra Rulofs, have met at the Heydar Aliyev Fund today.
According to the Georgian Embassy to Azerbaijan, during the meeting, issues on the humanitarian co-operation development between the two countries, as well as topics of great mutual interest were discussed.
Mrs. Rufols, who arrived on 9 October has already visited Atashgakh fire-worshippers temple and also laid flowers on the memorial sites of Ex-President Heydar Aliyev and his wife Zarifa Aliyeva. Today, Mrs. Rufols met with Health Minister Ogtay Shiraliyev.
The agenda of her visit to Baku also includes a visit to the tuberculosis centre, Azerbaijan`s Medical University, a meeting with Culture & Tourism Minister Abulfaz Garayev.
Mrs. Rufols' visit to Azerbaijan is expected to end on 11 October.
