The Head of the Igdir Municipality of Turkey, Nureddin Aras, has offered to cancel the visa system between Turkey and Nakchivan Autonomous Republic (Azerbaijan), Trend reports quoting Igdir Municipality.
The head of the Municipality appealed with regard with Nakchivan Autonomous Republic (NAR). The appeal stated that the existence of the visa system between Turkey and NAR, customs duties and problems emerging in the border trade is harmful to the fraternal relations. We should pay more attention to NAR called by great Ataturk as Turkish gates. It would be more productive to cancel the visa system, customs collections and apply friendliness and diplomacy at border-customs checkpoints, Aras stated.
