Muasir Musavat Party would like France to be expelled from the Co-chairmanship in the OSCE Minsk Group, and for all political parties functioning in Azerbaijan to hold a protest action in front of the France Embassy in Baku, the Chairman of Muasir Musavat Party Hafiz Hajiyev told Trend.
The Party's statement was made in relation with the adoption of the French Parliament on the law penalizing the denial of so-called Armenian genocide.
The Chairman of Muasir Musavat Party stressed that the adoption of the law by the French Parliament is the injustice towards not only Turkey, but also all the Turkic world. The Party considers that this step by France is very primitive and Azeri people should express their feelings. If France so values the human liberation, then why does it not express its attitude towards the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and the mass massacre of the Azeri people by Armenians? This proves that France will never be interested in the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. Therefore, we need France to be expelled from the Co-chairmanship in the OSCE Minsk Group and call for all political parties functioning in Azerbaijan to hold a protest action in front of the French Embassy, Hajiyev stressed.
Muasir Musavat Party was created in 2002 by Hafiz Hajiyev and registered at the Azerbaijani Ministry of Justice.
