Zakir Hashimov, Azerbaijan Ambassador to Turkey has told Trend today that a delegation of the Azerbaijani Government headed by the First Deputy Prime-Minister of Azerbaijan Yagub Eyyubov is expected to arrive to Turkey on November 11, to take part in the burial ceremony of Turkish Ex-Prime-minister Bulent Ecevit. He said that the Azerbaijani delegation would also include Deputy Interior Minister Vagif Sadikhov and MPs represented in the Azerbaijani-Turkish Friendship Society.
According to Turkish media sources, the same day, after a pray in Kodjatepe Mosque, the body will be carried to the location where it would be buried. It is reported that Bulent Ecevit will be buried in the cemetery where Turkish state figures are buried. A memorial is expected to be constructed on his grave.
