Agenda of Visit of Commander-in-Chief of Turkish Gendarmerie Agreed

Commander-in-Chief of the Turkish Gendarmerie, Ishik Koshaner is expected to visit Baku on November 14-15. Within the forthcoming visit, he is expected to meet both Azerbaijani public and military officials, get acquainted with military units of the Azerbaijan Interior Troops, a source in the International Relations Department of the Interior Troops of the Ministry of the Internal Affairs told Trend.

Mr. Koshaner is expected to arrive in Baku on November 14 at 13:00 p.m. At 15:00 p.m. he will visit the grave of Heydar Aliyev and the Alley of Martyrs. Later he has a meeting with Ramil Ussubov, Azerbaijan Internal Minister.

On November 15, in the morning, Mr. Koshaner is to meet Zakir Hassanov, Commander-in-Chief of the Azerbaijan Interior Troops in the Central Office of the Interior Troops. A briefing dedicated to the Visit of the Turkish guest is to be held at the end of this meeting. Mr. Koshaner is expected to visit Military Unit of the Azerbaijan Interior Troops located in the Baku Settlement of NZS, as well as the Training Centre in the Baku Village of Gala where he will get acquainted with military alertness of the Azerbaijani soldiers.

In the second half of the day, the Turkish guest will be accepted by the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev.

The agenda of the visit of Mr. Koshaner will be completed after his meeting with the Azerbaijani President.

Mr. Ishik Koshaner was appointed as the Commander-in-Chief of the Turkish Gendarmerie in 2006. This will be his first visit to Azerbaijan as the Commander-in-Chief.
