Russian LUKoil OJSC has no political jaundice in an issue on of carrying oil via the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan Pipeline (BTC), Valery Greyfer, Chairman of the Board of LUKoil has exclusively told Trend Correspondent to Moscow, today.
If we have an acceptable price on carrying oil on the principle tons/ km, then we shall be glad to carry our oil via this pipeline, he said.
Mr. Greyfer is satisfied with the level of cooperation between LUKoil and Azerbaijan.
These relations should have a neat line of mutual interest. At our friendly and kind attitude toward Azerbaijan, firms and severe laws of the market dictate the character of all the mutual relations, he said.
The Chairman of the Board of LUKoil also said that the major direction in the development of the Company in the Caspian Region is just its northern sector.
We have found extremely productive fields in the North of the Caspian. That is why if we speak about our work on the Caspian, we speak about our resources concentrated in the Northern sector of the Sea. And that will be the priority for LUKoil in this region, he said.
