Azeri President Mentioned Importance of Expanding Political Relations of Turkic-Speaking States

Although the organizations such as UNO, Council of Europe and the Organization of the Islamic Conference recognized Armenia as aggressor and require the immediate release of the occupied Azerbaijani territories, Armenia does not follow this, the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev said on November 17, while making a speech in the Summit of the Turkic-speaking states in Antalya, Trend reports with reference to ATV channel.

The President said that unconstructive position of Armenia imposes threats not only for Azerbaijan, but also the whole region. As a result, the terrorism is financed in the occupied territories.

In his speech, the President of Azerbaijan touched upon the political and economical relations of the Turkic-speaking states, as well as large-scale projects realized in the region, especially construction of the Baku-Akhalkalaki-Kars rail link. According to Aliyev, this project will be implemented.

The Leader of Azerbaijan mentioned the importance of expanding the political relations of the Turkic-speaking states, as well as conducting such events.
