From November 23, the withdrawal of the Russian military equipment in Caucasus from Tbilisi will begin via the territory of Azerbaijan, Trend reports with the reference to the Azerbaijani Embassy in Georgia.
An agreement has already been reached with the Russian side on the transportation of additional three echelons to Russia through the rail links of Azerbaijan. The first part will be sent in the morning of November 23. The cargo will comprise of 17 carriages with 23 units of various arm equipment.
The second echelon will be exported from Tbilisi on December 1.
The prescheduled withdraw of the military equipment and property of Russian arms from Tbilisi began on November 16. The first echelon consisted of two units of the armored equipment, several automobiles and radio stations. Four echelons should be sent from Tbilisi by the end of the year. Two will go to Russia (via Azerbaijan) and another two to Armenia.
