The Executive Power of Baku City has not sanctioned an action of protest to be held on November 23, by the Party of People Front of Azerbaijan, a source in the Party told Trend.

In its reply, the City Administration pointed out that it considered inexpedient to hold a picket near the Presidential Palace. However, members and activists of the Party are quite persistent and stubborn to hold the picket on November 23, at 14:00 near the Office of the Presidential Administration of the Country.

For their part, journalists of Newspaper Azadlig and other media organizations are expected to hold a picket in front of the State Property Committee on November 28.

The State Property Committee insists that Azadlig Newspaper and Turan News Agency should liberate the premises located at 33, Khagani Street that they still occupy due to unpaid rent. The State Committee initiated a suit in Economic Court 1. The legal proceeding on the case is expected to be continued on November 24.
