A delegation consisting of leading French companies headed by Christian Mons, Chairman of the Committee of the Union of Entrepreneurs of France (MEDEF) for Middle Asia and Caucasus is expected to arrive in Baku, a French Embassy source to Azerbaijan informed Trend.
The French delegation is to consist of 32 companies including representatives of companies specializing in the field of high-tech, engineering, banking, construction, infrastructure, ecology, energy, tourism, pharmaceutics, motor-car industry and food industry.
During the two days, the French guests will meet with members of Azerbaijan's Government, as well as representatives of local companies. The aim of the visit is to discuss investments to Azerbaijan's economy, as well as to study the possibilities of economic co-operation. They are also expected to meet with the Azerbaijani President, Ilham Aliyev, who had already met with some MEDEF members during his last visit to France.
