Attended by the representatives of the Azerbaijani Government, the next conference commenced in Strasburg, which focused on the law On freedom of assembly in Azerbaijan, representative of the Secretariat of the Venice Commission, Tatyana Mishelova, informed Trend.
It should be mentioned that after the appeal of the Azerbaijani Government, the Venice Commission studied and announced its conclusions regarding the law On freedom of assembly in Azerbaijan, which was adopted in 1998.
In addition, initiated by the Venice Commission, discussions should take place in Strasburg one of these days in regards to improve the Election Code of Azerbaijan.
