The Head of the Foreign Relations Department of the Executive Apparat of Azerbaijan President, Novruz Mammadov, briefed the media on December 12 that the transition of the OSCE chairmanship to Spain corresponds with Azerbaijan interests, Trendreports.
He said that as in other European countries, the separatism threats also exist in Spain. I consider that Spain seriously approaches the liquidation of this problem, Mammadov said.
It should be mentioned that in January 2007, the OSCE chairmanship will transfer to Spain. In 2006, the chairmanship of the OSCE was implemented by Belgium.
