The Advisor of the OSCE Baku Office for Policy and Printing, Ulvi Akhundov, informed Trend that in the evening of December 20, the Director of the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights, Christian Shtrokhal will arrive to Baku.
The meetings of Shtrokhal in Baku will begin on December 21. At 11:00, he will meet in the OSCE Baku Office with the NGOs of Azerbaijan, involved in the monitoring of the elections. At 12:30, he will have lunch with law-protectors, after which at 14:30, Shtrokhal will hold negotiations with the Azerbaijan Foreign Minister, Elmar Mammadyarov. At 16:00, he will hold a meeting with the opposition parties and at 17:00 with Interior Minister of Azerbaijan, Ramil Usubov.
On December 22, at 10:00 the OSCE envoy will meet with the Education Minister, Misir Mardanov, Executive Apparat of the Azerbaijani President at 11:30, Prosecutor General Zakir Garalov at 14:30, Minister of Justice Fikrat Mammadov at 15:45, Head of the central Election Commission Mazahir Panahov at 16:45 and Speaker of the Azerbaijani Parliament Oktay Asadov at 18:00.
His visit will conclude on December 23.
