The Government of Azerbaijan and Ukraine have scheduled plans on expansion of military cooperation, Trend reports.
During the one-day visit to Baku, the Ukrainian Prime Minister, Victor Yanukovich said that Azerbaijan is armed with Ukrainian tanks T-64 and their upgrade is of a great importance for the Azerbaijani army.
We have an opportunity to upgrade them so that the tanks correspond to advanced parameters set for armored arms. We are ready to make it in line with schedule. Azerbaijan possesses all technical capacities and we can implement it. I suppose it is one of the projects in the military-technical cooperation, Mr. Yanukovich said.
