The President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, signed an order on measures for improving the activities of the Ministry of Economic Development. State Anti-Monopoly Service and State Service for Control on Consumer Market will be created under the Ministry, Trend reports. The State Head confirmed the structure and Regulation of the Ministry of Economic Development, Regulation of National Fund for Entrepreneurship Development, State Anti-Monopoly Service, State Service for Control on Consumer Market and rules of using the finances of the National Fund for Entrepreneurship Development.
According to the order, Azerbaijan Scientific-Research Institute of Scientific-Technical Information and Technical Researches and Center of Economical Reforms of the Ministry have been liquidated, and Scientific-Research Institute of Economical Reforms will be created on the base of them. The functions and authorities of the liquidated institute and center will be transferred to Scientific-Research Institute of Economical Reforms.
The number of the employees of the central administration of the Ministry of Economic Development has been defined in 220 staff units, regional departments 70, National Fund for Entrepreneurship Development 50, State Anti-Monopoly Service 45 and State Service for Control on Consumer Market 70.
The Cabinet of Ministers was charged to, within a month, resolve the questions linked with the financing and ensuring the activities of the Ministry and its structures.
