The new Ambassador of Norway to Azerbaijan, Yon Romberg, is presently in Azerbaijan and has commenced his duties with the Embassy, Trend reports with reference to the Norwegian Embassy in Azerbaijan.
According to information released from the Embassy, Yon Romberg, aged 61 years, has held various Norwegian Embassy posts in the Republic of South Africa and the Netherlands and this will be his first posting as Ambassador. Mr Romberg is marred with three children.
Romberg replaces Steiner Gil as Ambassador of Norway to Azerbaijan who completed his diplomatic mission at the end of 2006.
