The Consular General of Azerbaijan to Saint-Petersburg, Gudsi Osmanov, informed Trend that as the new law On migration came into the force in Russia, he has sent representatives of the Consulate General to various regions of the city to render juridical assistance to the Azerbaijanis.
He stressed that since 11 January, the lawyers of the Consulate General and consulars will be sent to the oblasts of Russia to hold meetings with the Azerbaijanis. Osmanov has already held negotiations with the appropriate organizations in the Murmansk and Arkhangelsk oblasts.
According to the order of the Russian President, the migrants who live in the country illegally will be expelled.
