Community incomes
As a result of January to November 2006 net incomes of Azerbaijani population made up 9223.2mln manats, or 22.5% more than 11 months of 2005. Per capita incomes comprised 1103.2 manats with a rise of 21.2% from the last year. Average per capita income was 100.3 manats a month.
Increase in community incomes was result of rise of average monthly salaries of employees of some state bodies in Azerbaijan in January and August, as well as rise in the number of employed, stable income source of in the form salary.

In January to October of 2006 the community expenses were distributed in the following way: 70.2% on, purchase of goods and services, 11.5% - obligatory payment and fees, 18.3% - purchase of foreign currency and increase of savings.
Real community incomes after the payment of taxes and membership fees, made up 8164.8mln manats, or 23.4% more than last year. Real per capita community income made up 976.6 manats with rise of 22%.
Thus, in the first 11 months of 2006 the community expenses comprised 7533.8mln manats, or 22.85% up than expenses in January to November of 2005 (6132.4mln manats). The community incomes exceeded expenses by 1689.4mln manats, which implies for accumulation of funds.
Salary
Thus, the amount of average monthly salary in Azerbaijan as a result of January to November 2006 comprised 140.4 manats, or 19.9% more than 2005. Thanks to increase in salaries of several categories of employees financed out of the public budget in the country, the growth pace of the salaries in public enterprises and organizations was higher than the private sector.
Despite of increase in salaries there is still a difference in this indicator throughout the country.
The highest salary rate was fixed in extractive industry, as well as financial, leasing and commerce, construction sectors.
In January to October 2006 (the data are provided with a month-delay) the social payments paid at the job places made up 6.6 manats. Major part of benefits fell on employees of electricity gas and water supply, transport, store economy, communications and education
Labor market
In accordance with official statistics, as of 1 December 2006 a total of 3965,700 economically active people were employed in the Azerbaijan, or 46.4% of all population.
As of 1 August 2006 a total of 54,146 people were registered at the employment services, whereas as of 1 November they have numbered 54,417 people, while on 1 October it was 54,728, on 1 September вЂ" 54,987, on 1 August вЂ" 55,295, on 1 July вЂ" 55,424 and on 1 June 55,557. It reveals a cut by 271 people, 0.5%. The similar tendency has been observed since April, when the number of officially unemployed reduced by 2,231 people.
Average unemployed benefit comprises 56.5 manats, which is 37.8 of average monthly salary of employees. 51.2% of all those receiving unemployed benefits were women. 4 people claimed at 1 vacancy.
