Office Will be Open in Saint-Petersburg to Assist the Azerbaijanis in Resolving Registration Problems  Azeri Consular General

The Consular General of Azerbaijan to Saint-Petersburg, Gudsi Osmanov, informed Trend that office will be opened in the near future to assist the Azerbaijanis residing in Russia in resolving their problems with the registration.

He said that lawyers will work in the office. They will enlighten and provide legal assistance to the Azerbaijanis residing in Russia without registration. Each Azerbaijani will be rendered unpaid legal assistance and will be explained what documents should be collected and submitted to appropriate bodies for registration. In addition, initiated by the Consulate, 15 students provide legal assistance to the Azerbaijanis in Saint-Petersburg and regions. Moreover, from the next week, the Azerbaijanis may appeal to the office of the Society Azerbaijan where they can find answers to all questions, Osmanov said, adding that over the next weeks, two employees of the Passport Registration Department of the Azerbaijan Interior Ministry will be sent to Saint-Petersburg. The Interior Minister has already signed an order on this issue. They will stay in the Consulate and render assistance to the Azerbaijanis in relation with documents, references and passports.

Over the period of January-February, the Consular General will visit all regions of the north-east federal district of Russia to study the registration problems of the Azerbaijanis.
