The Higher Education Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Doctor Khalid Muhammad Al Angari, briefed the media on 16 January in Baku that the Memorandum on educational co-operation between Azerbaijan and Saudi Arabia, which has been signed during the Minister's visit to Baku, is directed towards developing relations in this area, Trend reports.
According to Muhammad Al Angari, the signed document envisages the exchange of students and teachers, establishing direct relations between the universities of the two countries, conducting joint scientific research, etc.
The Minister stressed that Saudi Arabia approves of the Azerbaijan educational system and intends to send its citizens to study in Azerbaijan.
During his trip, the Minister visited the Azerbaijan State Economic University, became familiar with the education process and its logistics and met with the teachers of the university.
