The Chief of the Baku Head Police Department (BHPD), Lieutenant-General Maharram Aliyev, stated on 18 January at the operative meeting of the BHPD that due to their negative actions, 12 employees of middle rank and 55 of lower rank and ordinary men have been dismissed from the bodies of the Interior Ministry.
He stressed that according to the order of the Interior Ministry and BHPD, the ranks of 57 employees, who did not fulfill their responsibilities, have been demoted. Adequate disciplinary punishments will be taken against undisciplined and irresponsible employees who bring harm to the image of the police with their actions, Aliyev said.
In addition, he stressed that the number of promotions awarded have increased in line with previous years.
