The Greek Embassy in Azerbaijan announced the program of the upcoming visit on January 23rd to January 26th of the delegation of Greek Parliament to Azerbaijan, Trend reports. The visit has been organized on the initiative of the Azerbaijani Parliament.
The delegation will be headed by the co-chairman of the Azerbaijani-Greek Inter-Parliamentary Friendly Group, Maximus Kharakopulos. The delegation also includes three deputies of the Greek Parliament, Constantinos Siaras, Antonis Karpouzas and Elpida Souri. Within the visit, the delegation plans to hold a number of meetings with the Chairman of the Azerbaijani Parliament, Oktay Asadov, Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism, Teymur Mehdiyev and visit the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.
The Inter-Parliamentary Friendly Group was created in May 2004. The co-chairman of the group from the Azerbaijani side is Chairman of Parliament's Permanent Commission on Social Policy, Haji Rajabli.
