Financed by the Government of Japan, realization of three new projects commences in Azerbaijan. On January 22, contracts on realization of the projects will be signed in the Japanese Embassy in Azerbaijan with the NGOs of the country, Trend reports.
The projects for the Construction of the School Building in Kotuklu village of Gabala district, Construction of the Medical Point in Duz Rasullu village of Gadabay district and Project for Providing Musical Instruments to Baku Musical Academy will be realized within Grassroots and Human Security and Cultural Grassroots by the Government of Japan. The gross cost of the projects is $269,622.
The Program Grassroots and Human Security has been realized in Azerbaijan since 2000. Within the programs, 74 projects have been realized, with gross budget of nearly $4,7 mln. The projects have been directed towards developing social sphere, especially education, health and infrastructure in Azerbaijan. Over the period of Azerbaijan independence, the Government of Japan has provided assistance in amount of $700 mln.
