Kuwait is Interested in Expanding Bilateral Co-operation with Azerbaijan
The senior officials of Kuwait said at the meeting with the Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan, Elmar Mammadyarov, during his official visit to Kuwait that Kuwait is interested in expanding the bilateral co-operation with Azerbaijan, Trend reports with reference to the Press-Center of the Azerbaijan Foreign Ministry. During the meeting, Mammadyarov held a number of meetings with the Emir of Kuwait, Prime Minister, Vice Primer, Foreign Minister, Chairman of the Parliament and Chairman of Kuwaiti Fund for Development of Arabic Economy. The sides widely discussed the future development of the bilateral, regional and international co-operation and mentioned the importance of developing the co-operation in the spheres such as tourism, energy, economy, etc. Azerbaijan Foreign Minister voiced his confidence that the visit of Azerbaijan President to Kuwait will open new opportunities for developing the bilateral co-operation of the two countries. Expressing the position of the State towards Nagorno-Karabakh, the Emir of Kuwait said that Kuwait will support the position of Azerbaijan in all organizations.
Primer Minister of Kuwait said at the meeting with the Azerbaijan Foreign Minister that Kuwait will continue providing assistance to the refugees and internally displaced people of Azerbaijan, who have been expelled from their Native lands in result of the Armenian aggression.
