During PACE Session Azeri Deputy Delivered Report on Violence against Children as a Result of Armenian Aggression Against Azerbaijan

The member of the Azerbaijan delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), MP Ganira Pashayeva, informed Trend that during the winter session of the PACE on January 23, she delivered a report on Victim children, prevention of all forms of violence, exploitation and insulting.

Pashayeva stressed in the report that children still sustain violence in the world, each year, children perish, and that they are exploited and sold. She spoke about use of the children as things, their involvement in the prostitution and sale of their organs in secret laboratories. She mentioned that a State Commission for Problems of Families, Women and Children has been created and programs are carried out to prevent violence against children in Azerbaijan. Pashayeva highlighted that Azerbaijan has ratified international documents on human rights. The document says that Azerbaijan has faced the facts such as exploitation of the children taken as prisoners, sale of their organs and moral violence after the occupation of its 20% territories by Armenia. One month later the 15th anniversary of Tragedy will complete, which has been completed by the Armenian military divisions in Khojali. e missing. Since the beginning of the Armenian aggression against Azerbaijan, hundreds of the Azerbaijani children have been taken prisoners and most of them have not been released yet. As a result of the aggression, tens of thousands of the Azerbaijan children have become refugees and reside in the tent camps, Pashayeva said.

According to her, as a result of the Armenian aggression, that ignores the resolutions of the international organizations, children still live under pressure.

In his speech, another member of the Azerbaijan delegation to the PACE, Rafael Huseynov, spoke about the crimes committed against the children as a result of the Armenian aggression. In the second half of the day, discussions will be held over the use of the energy sources as political pressure, as well as Armenian obligations undertaken before the Council of Europe. The members of the Azerbaijan delegation will express their attention.
