Bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Great Britain are of a strategic nature and it is necessary to further develop them. This thought sounded during the meeting between Azerbaijan's President, Ilham Aliyev and Alistair Darling, the Trade and Industry Minister of Great Britain, Trend reports.
During the meeting, the parties marked the high level of bilateral relation between the two countries in political, economic, and energy spheres. The Great Britain's Trade and Industry Minister highly evaluated Azerbaijan's active participation in EITI (Extractive Industry Transparency Initiative).
