The Head of the Georgian Border Police, Badri Bitzadze, thanked his Azerbaijani counterparts for their assistance. Mr. Bitzadze stated in a briefing on January 30th that they assisted the Georgian border police in the arrest of two especially dangerous criminals who were being searched by the Georgian Interior Ministry, Trend reports.
Mr. Bitzadze stated that the border guards under his subordination allowed the passage of these criminals at Red Bridge at the Georgian Azerbaijani State Border. The dangerous criminals were detained with the Azerbaijani border guards' assistance when they tried to enter this country, he noted.
