Marco Borsotti, the UN Resident Co-ordinator in Azerbaijan stated in talks with journalists on January 31st that along with the energy sector Azerbaijan should develop other alternative sources, Trendreports.
I am not saying Azerbaijan will exhaust energy resources as time goes by, it is dealt with the necessity to develop the non-oil sector, in particular, alternative sources, the UN Resident Co-ordinator noted. The key task of the Azerbaijani Government is to apply this strategy efficiently, invest in human resources, diversify the sector of information technology and develop ICT through the establishment of free economic zones, he added.
