Marko Borsotti, the UN Resident Co-ordinator in Azerbaijan, was satisfied with the level of co-operation of Azerbaijan during his tenure in this country. Mr.Borsotti, who is completing his term in Azerbaijan this week, made this statement for journalists in Baku on January 31st, Trend reports.
During the farewell meeting Azerbaijani government officials also sounded their satisfaction with the co-operation of UN, he added. Mr. Borsotti assured the journalists of future development of co-operation. UN is prepared to contribute in the development of the economy in the area of alternative energy sources.
Mr. Borsotti has been working in Azerbaijan since 2001. He will leave the country on February 3rd.
