The Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Turkey, Zakir Hashimov, exclusively informed Trend that the Defense Minister of Azerbaijan, Safar Abiyev, laid a wreath in front of the Museum of Ataturk in Ankara. On February 5th, the Azerbaijani Defense Minister will meet with the Chief of General Headquarter of Turkey, Yashar Boyukkanitin and the President of Turkey, Ahmed Nejdet Sezer. Abiyev plans to meet with the Prime Minister of Turkey, Rajab Teyyub Erdogan and Defense Minister, Vejdi Konul.
In addition, the Ambassador said that no documents are expected to be signed. The visit will conclude on February 6th.
