Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev arrived in Tbilisi for a one day visit, a Trend Correspondent in Georgia reports.
The Azerbaijani President was welcomes by a delegation led by the Georgian Prime Minister, Zurab Nogaideli.
The key objective of the visit is to participate in the opening ceremony of a new international airport in Tbilisi. The Turkish Prime Minister, Rejeb Tayyip Erdogan, is also to visit Tbilisi on February 7th. The sides are scheduled to hold trilateral talks in the Georgian capital.
Signing of joint documents on the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway route construction is also on the agenda.
