Commenting the statement of the Foreign Minister of Armenia, Vardan Oskanyan, on the issue that his country stands ready to participate in the construction of the Trans-Caspian gas pipe, the Head of the Press and Information Policy Department of the Foreign Ministry of Azerbaijan, Tahir Tagizade, informed Trend that the position of Azerbaijan remains as previous and as long as the Armenian aggression against Azerbaijan has not been eliminated, there can be no bilateral, neither multilateral co-operation between the conflict sides.
Exclaiming at the position of Azerbaijan that Armenia can not join this project without consent of Azerbaijan, Oskanyan said Azerbaijan should take into consideration that the gas pipe will transport gas not only from Azerbaijan, but also from the countries of Central Asia, and Armenia may use this opportunity on the base of multilateral and bilateral agreements.
Tagizade said that the Armenian side does not take one thing into consideration that Azerbaijan is not only transit, but also exporting country. Therefore, the idea that Armenia may do something by passing over Azerbaijan on the multilateral base is a delirium. I do not know whom the Armenian minister wants to deceive вЂ" himself, his colleagues, representatives of the Armenian government or international community, Tagizade said.
