The session of the Executive Committee of the Parliamentary Union of the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) began on February 11, 2007 in Kuala-Lumpur. The session will last till February 19, Trend reports.
The 9th session of the OIC Executive Committee will cover a number of questions linked with the situation in the Middle East, negative results of the double standards in the policy, equal rights of nations to use energy.
In addition, the session will pay attention to the propaganda of the democracy, human rights and international humanitarian right and economical questions. Moreover, the participants will exchange views on preparing TV programs in foreign language in Islamic countries and transmit them to the West. Azerbaijan will be represented at the session by the Deputies of the Parliament, Heyvar Bakhishaliyeva and Javanshir Pashazade.
