The Second Secretary of the Azerbaijani Embassy in Germany, Nasimi Agayev, exclusively informed Trend that a program of the forthcoming February 14-16th official visit of the Azerbaijani President, Ilham Aliyev, to Germany has been prepared.
The meeting of President Ilham Aliyev with the Federal Chancellor of Germany is planned for the first day of the visit. In addition, the State Head of Azerbaijan will meet with the Federal Foreign Minister, Frank Walter Shtaynmayer.
Ilham Aliyev will then attend a meeting with the heads of leading German companies. During the visit, on February 15th the President of Azerbaijan will make a speech at the Conrad Adenaura Foundation on the subject Azerbaijan in the 21st century: Development and Prospects.
Organized with the support of the Azerbaijani Embassy, the event is expected to bring together representatives of various political and business circle, members of Bundestag, representatives of the Government and community.
In addition, the visit program includes conducting business-forum with the participation of business people of the two countries. The business-forum will also be attended by the President of Azerbaijan and Federal Minister of Economy and Technology of Germany, Michael Gloss.
