Azerbaijani President Leaves for Germany

On February 14th the Azerbaijani President, Ilham Aliyev, left for Germany, Trend reports citing an official announcement by the President's Administration.

The Azerbaijani President is expected to meet with Federal Chancellor of Germany, Angela Merkel. On the same day the head of state will meet with German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier.

President Aliyev will participate in a meeting with the heads of leading German companies under the framework of roundtable'. On February 15th the Azerbaijani President will make a speech at the Conrad Adenauer Foundation on Azerbaijan in the 21st Century: Development and Prospects. The event organized with the assistance of the Azerbaijani embassy, will bring together representatives from different political and business circles, members of Bundestag, Government officials and public representatives.

Furthermore, the visit will include a business-forum with the partaking of both countries. The business-forum will be held with the participation of the Azerbaijani President and German Federal Minster for Economy and Technology, Michael Glos.
