First Deputy Chairman of Azerbaijan Democratic Party (ADP), Sardar Jalaloglu, informed Trend that the cabinet of Akif Shahbazov in ADP has been sealed up and his documents have been confiscated.
Jalaloglu said Shahbazov will not be missed by the party because he is irrelevant. The ADP Organizational Committee released Shahbazov from the post of Chairman of the ADP High Assembly and dismissed him from the ranks of the party for violating the Regulation. Shahbazov said that this decision is unfounded and he will continue his activities in ADP. In addition, Jalaloglu said that negotiations are being held with the ADP Chairman, Rasul Guliyev, to clarify the complicated situation in ADP. If it requires that I retire from the post of the Chairman of the Organizational Committee for the solidity of the party, I will not nominate for the post of Chairman and if the members of the party agree with it, I will take this step, Jalaoglu said.
