Trend S.Agayeva / The Press-Service of the Foreign Ministry of Azerbaijan stated that the Director of UNDP's Regional Bureau for Europe and the CIS Ms. Kori Udovicki, said at the meeting said at the meeting with the Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan, Elmar Mammadyarov, that the officials of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) highlight the prospects of Azerbaijan's transforming from the addressee country of humanitarian assistance into a donor country. Udovicki especially mentioned the successes achieved over the recent 16 years of co-operation between Azerbaijan and UNDP. He highly assessed Azerbaijan's high economic indicators, wise policy of the Country's Head, accurate spending of the oil revenues and development of the non-oil sector.
In his turn, the Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan highlighted the importance of the development of Azerbaijan's co-operation with the UNDP in the process of country's transforming into a donor country. In addition, the sides discussed the development of the human resources of Azerbaijan, agro business, formation of the small and medium entrepreneurship, poverty reduction.
