Azerbaijan, Baku / corr. Trend S.Ilhamgizi / The Press-Service of the Central Election Commission of Azerbaijan (CEC) stated that the CEC Chairman, Mazahir Panahov, was on visit to Great Britain between 24 February and 3 March at the invitation of the officials of the Election Association of Great Britain.
During the visit, Panahov attended the conference and annual meeting dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the officials of the Election Association.
Within the events, Panahov got familiarized with the exhibition "Election equipments and materials". In addition, Panahov held meetings with the Chairman of the Central Election Commission of Great Britain, Simon Youngler, President of the International Fund for Election System, Richard Saudriet and Chairman of the Association of Election Officials, Jon Tornel.
The meetings focused on several issues regarding mutual co-operation and its prospects.
