Azerbaijan, Baku /corr Trend I.Alizade / Rasul Guliyev, the leader of the Azerbaijan Democratic party, is answerable for the split in the party. Panah Huseyn, an MP elected from Azadlyg, which also includes ADP, stated that split in the party was a result of policy that Rasul Guliyev pursued before and after the 2006 parliamentary elections.

Though the developments in ADP were caused by Guliyev's harmful policy MP Huseyn avoided favoring Sardar Jalalogly, the ADP Deputy Chairman. "I am too angry with Jalaloglu. His proposal on dialogue seems too dangerous. It actually hurts the political dialogue," he stressed.

A while ago oppositional ADP was split into two parts one led by Chairman Rasul Guliyev and another led by First Deputy Secretary Sardar Jalaloglu.
