Azerbaijan, Baku / corr. Trend K.Zarbaliyeva / On 15 March the Memorandum of Understanding will be signed between the Project on Support of Small and Medium Entrepreneurship through the Financial Sector Development, implemented by ACDI/VOCA, and Service for State Registry of the Real Estate of Azerbaijan. The project is financed by the US Agency for International Development (USAID).
The co-operation aims to assist in devising the law draft "On cadastre of real estate" to raise the level of the service for registration of the rights for real estate in Azerbaijan. The co-operation will be made to devise law drafts and other standard documents. There are plans, in the first stage, to systematize problems existing within registration, review the legislation, study the experience of the developed countries and appropriate law drafts and other standard documents.
The Memorandum of Understanding will be signed by the Head of the project of ACDI/VOCA, Muhammad Junaid and Chairman of Service for State Registry of the Real Estate, Arif Garashov.
