Due to the order, the Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan is in charge of presenting proposals to the President within a month to bring the legislative acts into conformity with the law "On making amendments and changes to the law "On status of Deputies of Azerbaijan Parliament""
The law "On making amendments and changes to the law "On status of Deputies of Azerbaijan Parliament"" was adopted by Milli Majlis [Azerbaijani Parliament] on 1 February. According to the amendments and annexes to the law "On status of Deputies of Azerbaijan Parliament", article 21-1 "Assistant Deputy" will be added.
The article says that the Deputy may have assistant to ensure his/her activities. The assistant deputies will be financed from the State budget. Employing assistant deputies will be regulated by the labor legislation.
