Russia’s Deputy FM: Progress is Observed in Process of Delimitation of Azerbaijani-Russian Borders

Azerbaijan, Baku / corr. Trend S.Agayeva / "A number of unco-ordinated sections remain between Azerbaijan and Russia and they will be the topic of discussions of the Azerbaijani-Russian Commission for Delimitation and Demarcation of State Borders," said the Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia, Co-chair of the Russian side of the Commission, Alexander Yakovenko.

According to him, progress has been observed in the process of delimitation and demarcation of borders. "It is a difficult and delicate issue which requires attentive and professional consideration to which we are working constructively and I feel that we are nearing the end," he said. However, the Russian diplomat could not give a definite date on the completion of the Commission's work, but expressed his hope that the process may be completed in the near future.
