Azerbaijan, Baku / corr. Trend S.Agayeva / The First Vice Prime Minister of Azerbaijan, Yagub Eyyubov, will represent Azerbaijan at the forthcoming CIS Economic Council meeting on 30 March in Moscow, a Government source stated.
The agenda of the meeting includes a number of issues, including protocols on amendments and annexes to the documents such as an agreement on policy with regards to standardization, metrology and certification; an agreement on the release of custom duties and providing special permits for the delivery of standard documents, means of measurement and standard samples; an agreement on mutual recognition of right for privileged travel of disabled persons and participants of the Great Patriotic War, as well as people associated to them.
In addition, the agenda of the meeting includes measures for the development of leasing agricultural techniques, machines and mechanisms in CIS participating countries until 2010 and activities of the Inter-Governmental Council for Chemical and Petrochemical Co-operation.
