Azerbaijan, Baku / Тrend corr E. Huseynly / Lieutenant-General Ismayil Isakov, the Minister for Defence of Kyrgyzstan, began his official visit to Azerbaijan on 27 March.
Within the framework of the visit Isakov will meet with the Azerbaijani Defence Minister, Safar Abiyev. The Ministers signed two agreements on joint military cooperation and training of military personnel. "I believe we should continue the cooperation and sign new agreements for the sake of strengthening of the independence of our countries and military forces," Abiyev urged. He also mentioned the occupation policy pursued by Armenia. " Azerbaijan intends to resolve the conflict on the basis of the international law and a principle of the territorial integrity and will achieve its goal," Abiyev emphasized.
Isakov informed that the ongoing cooperation between the Ministries in various fields will meet the common interests. "I believe my visit to Azerbaijan will give an impetus to further intensification of cooperation," Isakov added.
